The use of radio frequency in medical practice is not new and has been used medically for many years, using the principle of the medication of deeper skin layers through heat. Radio frequency has the ability to heat up deep layers of the skin and underlying tissue, causing deep collagen structures in the skin to tighten immediately. This improves the existing collagen and promotes new collagen production to tighten the skin further, resulting in healthier, smoother skin and a more youthful appearance.

The Collagenwave® ‘non-ablative’ treatment acts on the middle and lower layers of the dermis without damaging the surface. A certified therapist uses a wand containing electrodes, to deliver controlled and even amounts of radio frequency energy into the skin for safe and effective results. Benefits to all areas are skin tightening, toning, smoothing and rejuvenation of skin tissue and results can be seen immediately, often improving over time.

Jo will advise on a course of treatments followed by regular maintenance treatments to help maintain or continually improve results.

After a course of treatments targeting all areas of the face the Jo will offer advice to you on where she feels the radio frequency treatment will benefit you the most in gaining positive results. In agreement with you Jo uses the RF handle to focus treatment on specific areas of the face such as the jawline , crows feet , under eyes , brow area, forehead. Then over a number of treatments we begin to see some clear results in tightening and improvement of the complexion of skin.
