DMK Peels are advanced treatments for clients who have already undertaken DMK Enzyme Therapy. It is important to restore health and homeostasis to the skin first, as that is what a peel will reveal. Jo will advise you if these treatments are suitable for your
skin.

Based on DMK's REMOVE, REBUILD, PROTECT and MAINTAIN philosophy, DMK Peels revise the skin’s architecture, addressing the underlying conditions to return the dysfunctional areas to optimal health.

THE PRO ALPHA SIX LAYER PEEL & REMODELLING PROCEDURE (RP) are safe for all skin types and ethnicities, both male and female. The six layer peel was specifically designed for ageing skin but excellent results can be achieved on thick skin, uneven textured skin, scarring and other skin concerns.

Many people assume that the skin can be peeled layer by layer like an onion. This is not the case. When viewed under a microscope, the skin is actually a series of hills and valleys with old and new cells constantly shifting.

A thick build up of dead skin cells slows down all of the functions of the skin, including the vital production of secretive glands that give us our young, bright Acid Mantle.

DMK Skin Revision procedures such as the Six Layer Peel, remove this build-up and actually enhances the skin’s own ability to remove excess keratin plugs within the ducts. They also re-establish a healthier environment for normal cell proliferation by desquamation and elimination of waste material.

These treatments are unique in the fact that they REMOVE and REBUILD at the same time, unlike other surface peels on the market. By applying the full DMK CONCEPT, the skin naturally responds to what it recognises and its natural functioning is quickly restored to leave you with healthy, glowing skin with no unsightly side-effects.

Because the Pro Alpha Peel solution is made from natural fruit sugar acids combined with Vitamin A derivatives, it does not cause a controlled burn to the skin as in the case of medical peels. It does not void out natural pigmentation leaving a waxy artificial appearance to the skin. Nor does the treatment leave any permanent lines or demarcation under the jaw line as in the case of the medical peels. Lastly, there is no excessive oedema (swelling) or heavy erythema (redness) or long periods where the client must be out of public view for extended amounts of time.

RP SKIN REVISION is suitable for the face and body. The RP treatment will be performed instead of the Six Layer Peel on clients who have more active oil glands or have suffered with acne in the past. It can be carried out on those active acne and darker skin tones in replace of the Six Layer Peel.

PLEASE NOTE
A patch test must be performed prior to all DMK treatment procedures.
There is a 10-14 day preparation period prior to these treatments where you must use the prescribed DMK home care every morning and night.
DMK home prescriptives must be used during the whole procedure of six layer or RP, including after the treatment has been finished. This will maintain your results for longer. 
DMK Revise A or Revitosin must be used every night in the 10-14 day preperation period. These can be alternated with super bright. These products will need to be stopped the night before the treatment.
DMK EFA supplements must be taken during the whole process.
Clients MUST attend every treatment that is scheduled for them during the procedure, as these are very important for ensuring the treatment will work effectively.
Advanced skin revision treatments cannot be carried out until the client has had at least 2-4 enzyme therapy treatments in the last 4 months. These help to strengthen the skin prior to deeper treatment.
The skin will physically peel off on during the next 10 days post treatment. This tends to happen the most on days 3-4 and possibly again on days 7-9.
DMK Cosmetics is the only make up that can be worn post treatment in the peeling stages.
Avoid having advanced treatments carried out around special occasions and social events.
These treatments are not suitable for Indian Skin. Please ask about other options.
RP and Six Layer Peel are not suitable for those with auto-immune disorders.
DMK SPF 30 must be worn daily, along with use of Melanotech Drops.
